Our hotel was built in a neo colonial style house, which formerly was the site of the embassy of  Great Britain.

In ancient times our area was where embassies and mansions of the blooming Quito functioned. Nowadays our neighbours are the United States and France embassies.

With the purpose of preserving a piece of Quito´s history,
La Cartuja was proclaimed Historic Heritage site 
of the city.

We have 12 rooms; 8 in the main house and 4 in the garden-patio area. Our rooms are decorated in calm tones and are sunny and bright. All are provided with private bath, around the clock hot water and good pressure, according to our guests. Safe boxes, cable tv and telephones.

We are located in an exclusive area, near touristic main attractions and commercial zones, but far from the noisy avenues and streets. We are  Just 15 minutes away from Mariscal Sucre international airport.
